U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley has scheduled in-person town halls April 23 in Crook and Jefferson counties.
The Crook County event will be at 1 p.m. in the gym of Barnes Butte Elementary School, while the Jefferson County event will be at 3:30 p.m. in the Madras Performing Arts Center auditorium.
Since he was elected in 2009, Merkley has held town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties every year. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, some of those events have been virtual, but this month’s events will be in person.
Merkley will also hold town halls in Wheeler, Grant, and Harney Counties on April 22.
