Federal reps will answer questions from the public
Two of Oregon’s federal representatives will hold a joint town hall in Sherwood on Monday afternoon to talk about their work in Congress and answer questions from the public.
Sen. Jeff Merkley and Rep. Andrea Salinas will begin the townhall at noon Monday at Sherwood Middle School.
They will tout the funds they’ve procured for Tigard to renovate a public library into an emergency heating and cooling center for the homeless. Merkley will also talk about the $2.5 million he helped get for the Center for Addictions Triage and Treatment in Washington County.
KOIN 6 News will be at this joint town hall and will have more information later in the day.
Merkley then will hold another solo town hall in Multnomah County at Reynolds Middle School in Fairview.
