Declaración de Merkley sobre el fallecimiento de Bob Caldwell

Portland, OR- Oregon’s Senator Jeff Merkley issued the following statement on the passing of Robert J. Caldwell, Editorial Page Editor of The Oregonian. 

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bob Caldwell. I have appreciated Bob’s leadership of The Oregon Editorial Pages for many years, from my time at the World Affairs Council of Oregon hosting foreign delegations to my service in the Oregon House and the U.S. Senate. Bob brought enormous insights to state, national, and international issues. He was a giant in Oregon media, an outstanding journalist, and the state of Oregon will miss him deeply. Mary and I will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.”
