LANE COUNTY, Ore. — Lane County is set to receive more than $19-million in grant funds to fight against climate and environmental challenges.
The$19,555,386 in funds comes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Community Change Grant, via the Biden-Harris Administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, aimed at helping disadvantaged communities tackle environmental and climate justice challenges through projects that reduce pollution, increase community climate resilience and build community capacity.
Lane County is 1 of 21 applications selected to receive these funds.
