WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23, Oregon’s U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, in collaboration with the Department of the Interior, will convene an invitation-only summit on preserving the monarch butterfly at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, DC. This two-day event will bring key stakeholders across science and policy together to identify solutions to reverse the cratering population of the monarch butterfly.
