(Originally posted February 5th, 2020) – What we saw today was not the end of a trial. It was the execution of a cover-up. The president’s abuses of power have now seeped into the Senate, threatening the very foundations of this Chamber and our rule of law. Without a full and fair trial, there can be no exoneration.
